My name is Champ and I was recruited for Canines 4 Comfort in March of 2021. Prior to joining, I lived in Tennessee. I am grateful to Hoof Woof & Meow Animal Rescue for connecting me with C4C. Comfort.
Breed: Cocker Spaniel Mix
Age: 18 months
I aspire to become a psychiatric service dog. I am currently learning deep pressure therapy which will help my recipient to calm her anxieties.
I relax by laying on top of my host mama’s feet. And my ears always perk up when I hear my future person call my name. My secret tickle spot is, ahem it’s a secret! My guilty pleasure is hiding my host mama’s phone under the bed, so she will play with me instead of the phone!
I currently live with the girl who I will be serving and we attend training together twice a week.
One of the most exciting things I have done for Canines 4 Comfort is burying myself into the lap of my future person on our very first meeting!. I can’t wait to do more!!!
